Dude Watches – Jessica Jones – S1E10

Hey gang, welcome back to Dude Watches – Jessica Jones. This week we discuss and review episode 10, AKA 1,000 Cuts.

Let’s be honest, if you’re reading this, you know the schtick… this is what? our fourth iteration of Dude Watches? Pretty sure you’ve caught on. And if you’re this far along you know we’re watching Jessica Jones. Hell, we only write it out so many times for SEO purposes. And really, you don’t need a recap of the episode– if you’re here, you’ve seen it. Maybe all of these things are true. Or maybe, just maybe, we forgot to do a write up a week ago when we reviewed the show and now can’t remember a damn thing that happened. Now, you’re a discerning audience, which do you think is more likely?

Right— Whoops. Our bad. So, instead of recapping this week’s episode here, let’s speculate what the episode may be about based on the episode title alone:

Jessica quits her life as a Private Investigator and opens an Italian restaurant named Lil’ Kevin’s.

Simpson gets Kilgraved and now he thinks he’s a ninja assassin and the entire episode is a throwback to old Kung Fu movies.

Trish decides talk radio isn’t fulfilling anymore and becomes a remix producer for Death Row Records. Hope is her first artist.

Kilgrave gives up his life of crime and becomes a landscaper. Or a barber. Or a surgeon. I think you see where this is going.

Oh, Oh, the entire episode is a flashback to when Jessica was all emo in high school and it’s just an hour of her skipping school and getting high with her friends like a fusion between an Are You Afraid of the Dark? episode and an after school special.

Or maybe something vitally important happens and people die, and escape, and whatever. Who knows. Shoulda watched the show, huh?

Aaaaannnyy way, as always thanks for reading, and thanks for listening. Enjoy!
